AutoOngame Instructions

Installation

Installation is very easy. You have two options : Either you just download the executable and run that from your own computer, or - if you want to be able to make modifications you can download the AHK script itself.

If you download the script, then you need to install AutoHotKey to run it. AHK can be downloaded from http://www.autohotkey.com.

Important

You MUST turn off "Popup table on action" under Option/Preferences/Gameplay in the Ongame client for AOG to work.

Configuration and options

There are several things you can configure to make AOG behave the way you want it to. Each time you run the script, it will start by displaying the option screen. The options are saved in a file called "autoongame.ini" so it will remember your choices between runs.

The configuration screen looks like this :

And each of the options is explained here :

Tables Across/Down screen : This option is used to specify how many tables you want displayed on your screen horisontally and vertically. One slot will usually be reserved for the active table (unless "Move active table" is deselected or "Active Table Monitor" has been set to the second monitor)

Tables Across/Down secondary screen : If you have two monitors attached to your computer, this option controls the layout of the second monitor.

Active Table Monitor : Select which of your monitors the Active table should be moved to.

Enable Arrange Tables : This option controls the entire table layout mechanism. Disable it if you don't want AOG to move and arrange your tables. The only things AOG will do then are : Pop up table on actions, and click 'sit in' if you choose.

Move Active Table : If this option is selected, the active table will always be moved to the active-table position when it needs action, and then back in place when a new table needs action. Deselect to leave all tables in place.

Use animated Table Moves : When selected, the tables will move in smaller increments when being moved - giving an animated effect. If you don't want that it can be disabled here. By changing the file autoongamev7.ini that is saved on disk, you can change the animation "speed" by setting AnimationSteps to something other than 3.

Layout for Mini Tables : If you have your OnGame client set to use the "Mini table" layout which fits more tables on the screen then make sure you place a checkmark here for the layout algorithm to work.

Automatically Sit Back in : AOG will monitor your tables and if you are sat out because you fail to act on a table it will sit you back in. Note: Some users have reported issues with this feature, and it can interfere with cashgame reloads. I will try to look into improving it for future updates.

Use Dual Monitors : So you have two 22" monitors and would like to 20-table? No problem - just check this box and choose the rows/columns of tables you want for each monitor and AOG will use both monitors - even if they are different sizes.

Running AOG

When you've selected all options - hit ok and AOG will run and display a small "H" icon in your taskbar. You can stop the script or pause it by rightclicking that icon or you can at any time press Windows+H to enable/disable the AOG functionality.

Advanced Options

There are a few additional options that can be set by editing the ini-file. You can set which row/col the active table should be moved to. And there are even more things to change if you look into the script source. Most of the variables that make sense changing are commented towards the top of the script source.
